Cleaning the kitchen is one of those things that we all want to do, but never seem to get around to. It’s not a fun job, and it can be hard work. And if you follow our tips here, this won’t take more than an hour of your time!

Follow these steps and before long your kitchen will be as good as new. You'll have much more free time in your day once this task is done with ease!

Follow these steps and before long your kitchen will be as good as new. You’ll have much more free time in your day once this task is done with ease!

First, remove all food and trash from your kitchen. Make sure to deep clean anything that may have spilled over as well.

Next, use a sink full of soapy water with some bleach or ammonia added for disinfection purposes (do not mix the two together). Clean any dirty dishes in the dishwasher first before putting them into the sink of soapy water solution.

Be careful when cleaning cups and mugs because they are more fragile than pots or pans. If something is really stubborn, soak it overnight in an enzyme cleaner such as Dawn detergent mixed with hot water then scrub away! After you’ve cleaned off most surfaces and washed your dishes; give ovens, drawers/cabinets underneath and inside, stove tops and ovens a good scrub. Make sure to clean the molding around your kitchen sink as well as any other pipes or faucets that are exposed or sticking out of cupboards. Be careful not to get anything wet if you start on this task because it is much more difficult than cleaning dry surfaces!

If there’s no room for furniture in your small kitchen then be sure to deep clean all baseboards starting at one end and working towards the other side – don’t forget about under appliances too! The same goes with hardwood floors; sweep up any dust/grime from behind the fridge, dishwasher, cabinets etc before vacuuming thoroughly.

I just mixed into a condo with vinyl plank floors and not sure how to wash them. I was told to use Bona floor cleaner, and do not need to rinse after washing. This does not make any sense to me. Any suggestions?

First vacuum the floors with a canister vacuum , then damp mop the floors using Bona floor cleaner but dilute it with some water and let it dry on its own.
